Surfrider Foundation; Oʻahu Chapter

The Surfrider Foundation is a largely volunteer-run organization.

Nationwide, there are 80 local chapters doing the grassroots work along with 100 youth clubs. The Oahu Chapter is one of the 80 Chapters, and 7 youth clubs are active on the island of Oahu.

The Oahu Chapter works with incredible partner organizations and community members to make our victories possible.

Purpose of Activity

The Surfrider Foundation mission is to protect and enjoy our ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.

The Oahu Chapter is one of the most active of the 80 Chapters across the nation.
There are also 100 Youth Clubs in the Surfrider network, with 7 on Oahu.

As a volunteer-run organization, we are ocean lovers who work to make positive changes in our community through many programs & campaigns.

Activities

 Beach Cleanups, Blue Water task force, education, policy, etc.
